Who are we?


From the beginning…

Guru started life in 2002, founded with core values based on excellent service, expert advice and unbeatable value we built excellent partnerships working retained assignments with leading institutions such as T-mobile and Thomson Financial (now ThomsonReuters).

With enough work to keep us busy for five years we barely had time to think! However, early in 2007 we spent some time in our local Starbucks working on some new and exciting ideas and came up with an innovation in hiring. A fully transparent, multi-platformed service that for the first time offered clients unprecedented coverage when advertising vacancies online.

Our Networked Approach…

Utilising an online network that covers over 400 of the largest places candidates search for work (see our network) our aim is to get vacancies noticed whilst providing a fully managed service. In a nutshell we combine networked advertising with copywriting, advert optimisation, candidate management and CV filtering to provide an all-round service for a one off low cost fixed fee (more info.)

The Guru team consists of copywriters, account managers, campaign administrators and marketing executives. We all share one uniformed ambition and that is to deliver an expert service to our clients, and, of course, to be the best at what we do!

What's next?…

Guru has built a reputation within the industry as experts in their field. Our very own job board www.gurucareers.com is testament to this fact, boasting over 100,000 page views per month and used by competitors, candidates, clients and agents.

Building on the successes of our ad network and our job board our aim is to continue to look forward, isolating new markets and innovating new ways to help clients streamline recruitment processes.
